Baguettes, etc. is the baking app for the serious baker of breads, viennoiseries, and desserts.
All recipes are contributed by bakers, built with the app Recipe Editor.
Breads:
- Size recipes for by number and weight of loaves (raw or baked.)
- Compute water temperature for predictable rise times.
Viennoiseries:
- Size recipes by number and weight of croissants and chocolatines.
- Compute dimensions of the butter roll, dough enclosure, and final roll in function of the number and weight of items.
All bakes:
- Precise sizing of bakes by number of items (20 madeleines), number and weight of items (12 croissants of 80g), or by total weight (1400g of dough.)
- Track cost of your bakes by entering the cost of individual ingredients.
- Timers and notifications during baking. "Continuation" timers remember when they were supposed to start in case you set them too late.
- Baking log records tracks ingredient temperatures, final dough temperature, timing of steps, and your own notes.
- Private and public baking books where you create and edit your own recipes, or copy recipes from other bakers.
- When signed-in you can hop between devices while baking or editing recipes, as the storage is cloud based.
